The Cobo tablet punch appears to be discontinued but I have some left. It is a metal object that doesn't rust so there is no shelf life. These bad boys will be good forever. I thought it was a great product. I still have about 5 more to sell. The item is similar to any of the recovery devices that use a center punch. You use the punch to make a permanent mark in the device representing the letter and the position of the letter. I am using part of one of these right now. It can do 24 words but I am only using the 12 word part at the moment. I am using the center metal piece. The device is really well made and has a very intelligent design. I am sur esomeone else will pick it up soon. In the meantime whether its a current item or discontinued is kind of immaterials because it isn't electronic so there is nothing to break. It is just solid metal ready for you to etch in your seed phrases. This is actually one of the ones that I use. You get room for all 24 words.
If you are buying a hardware wallet and you want to keep things backed up and safe, you need a backup device that holds you recovery phrase. You want stainless steel or aluminum from the research that I have gathere so you don't have to worry about corrosion or melting.
These things are awesome. We have a few more to sell and then they will be gone.
