Coin Gecko

Coin Gecko is my favorite crypto app for my phone.  It seems to be the premier website for researching alt coins.  I like to search based on volume and price and of course market cap.  We plan to start advertising on Coin Gecko as soon as we are able to process credit card transactions through Shopify without using Paypal.  I haven't registered with the app but I do use it every day.  I wish it would just know me by my phone some how.  I search the same coins over and over.  I also like to see what searches are trending and then research the trending coins.  As an example, I have been very interested in Polygon or Matic since I noticed the increased trading action.

I discovered Safemoon and Shiba Inu.  I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.  So far it is about neutral. From time to time we like to check Coinmarket Cap to verify what we find on Gecko.  Google isn't the friendliest when it comes to advertising crypto related products.  When we launched our website we knew that we might not be able to use traditional advertising methods like Adwords, Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook.

If that is the case, we have plans to advertise on alternate platforms like Coinmarketcap and Coingecko.  We hope to be able to advertise directly with our defi properties and we hope to get write ups as we continue to provide free information and reviews of the Defi space.

I have found scams on other websites like Coingecko.  I have not been scammed by anything I have found on the Gecko itself.  They seem to have a pretty good screening process.  While I wouldn't trust a random coin I found without researching the contract, Coingecko is one of the best places to discover new coins.  You may not know that Safemoon or Shiba Inu even exist if you just used other websites.  Even though they have multi billion dollar market caps, somehow they are not worth mentioning on certain mainstream coin sites.
